WIM GEUDENS

1986: Sandra Kim wins the Eurovision Song Contest, the Red Devils play the semi-finals at the World Cup in Mexico, Ferris Bueller is having a day off while Wim Geudens puts his first steps on planet earth.

 

During his career at the film academy Wim created two successful short films "ROBBIE ROCKET" and "BEATS OF LOVE" for which he received the "Best Debut Award" at the International Short Film Festival of Leuven (2011). His latest short film "DE SMET" screened at 100 international festivals and received 20 awards, including multiple Audience Awards and the HUMO-Award.

 

Studio Tarara, a comedy-drama series he co-directed with Tim Van Aelst, got nominated at Canneseries (2019) and won the award

for best TV-series at the Berlin International TV Series Festival.

Wim is known for his dry & dark sense of humor, subtle storytelling, a keen eye for art direction and with a strong visual style.
